Neighbourhood Collaboration! Neighbourhood Collaboration implies that we help keep watch for strangers and cars that may seem suspicious in some way. With the help of committed neighbours many criminal acts may be prevented. Neighbourhood Collaboration means being vigilant when at home, that you pay attention to what people are about in the area and that you make a note of incidents that seem peculiar.  Walks with the pram or the dog are turned into natural ways to watch over your home area. Permanent residents • Compile a list of your property and/or video record your home. • Mark possessions liable to be stolen in an appropriate way. • Inform neighbours and/or contact person if you plan to go away for longer than a few days. • Keep valuables in a safe place. • Be vigilant in general and contact the police, should you see anything that looks suspicious. Temporary residents • Compile a list of your property and/or video record your home. • Mark possessions liable to be stolen in an appropriate way. • In summer − 1 May to 31 August − inform neighbours and/or contact person if you plan to go away for longer than a few days. During the rest of the year continuous surveillance will be performed by permanent residents. • Do not keep valuables in your summer house. • Be vigilant in general and contact the police, should you see anything that looks suspicious.
